Who We Are
After 15 years working as a hairstylist, Kim, along with her business partner, (since retired) achieved their dream of opening the doors to Cutting Edge Hair Company. Our trendy and innovative salon has been operating since 1999 in the heart of Sherwood Park, AB.
We are a Redken Ambassador Salon and are focused on supporting our stylists through education and guidance. Our team is constantly evolving, keeping up to date on the latest trends and continuing education to meet all of our guests needs.
We have a team of 8 hairstylists, and 1 Esthetician/Permanent Makeup Artist. Whether you are looking for a haircut, colour, style, waxing, facial, microblading or some advice about hair and skincare, we've got you covered.
What We Love
Education, education, education!
These days hairstylists have more access to continuing education than we ever have before. In our downtime you can usually find us taking online courses on the latest styles and techniques. The hair industry is always evolving and we love that we can easily learn all the new things.
Recycling
We love the environment and want to do our part to reduce the amount of items we throw away. That's why we participate in our local Instyle Recycling program. Through this program we are able to recycle most of the supplies we use in the salon. We recycle everything from hair that's been cut, used foils, unused colour, colour tubes and more.
